“Just Let God”

Thought for Today: JUST LET GOD
There is something that someone did or said that has you all messed up and the problem is not just what they did or what they said, it’s who they are that has you messed up.
You can’t believe he did that, or you can’t believe she said that. And all you want to do is confront them and ask them why. Why would they do that, knowing that it would hurt you? Why would they say that, knowing that what they said would get you in trouble?
You just can’t figure it out, and the Holy Spirit of God says to you, “the enemy has a tendency to use those that are close to you to lure you out of My will.”
The word of God says it this way, “As if a man (woman) did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house and leaned his (her) hand on the wall and a serpent bit him” (Amos 5:19). You see, it’s easy to just move on when it’s someone that you don’t know who says or does something. You let them move on simply because they don’t know you and you don’t know them.
The word of God says, “Faithful are the wounds of a friend but the kiss of an enemy are deceitful” (Proverbs 27:6). This just means it’s easier to forgive an enemy than a friend.
You have the mind to go tell them about themselves, you have the mind to confront them and give them a piece of your mind, but the Holy Spirit of God is saying to you right now, “sometimes you just have to let Me deal with them.” For the word of God says, “A fool uttereth all his mind but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards” (Proverbs 29:11).
The word of God says “To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3:1). Yes, there will be times when you will arise and speak for yourself. There will be times when you defend yourself, there will be times when you will confront the person that the enemy used to do you wrong.
I don’t know who I am talking to but you need to know, this is not one of those times. JUST LET GOD deal with them on this matter. This will save you stress; this will close the door on unnecessary arguments, this will close the door of what if’s and accusations. In other words, it disarms and cancels the plans that the enemy had for you.
For it is written, “They also that seek after my life lay snares for me; and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things and imagine deceits all day long. But I was as a deaf man, heard (I just acted like I didn’t hear it) and I was as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth (I didn’t say nothing). Thus I was a man (woman) that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs (I didn’t give them nothing to fight with). For in thee O LORD do I hope, thou wilt hear O LORD my God” (Proverbs 38:12-15).
If you JUST LET GOD deal with that person in this matter, you will keep your peace and they will walk away mad, not you.
Be Blessed
