“Scared to Ask
”

The enemy of the church has placed is a growing problem in the body of Christ. For years, religion has been plotting and planning a strategy for this very moment. Religion has made you believe it is wrong to question God. Religion has made it a bad thing to ask God to show you how real He is in your life. Or, to show you He hears you about a certain situation you are in. Religion has made it a bad thing to ask God for a sign about this/that. I have come by to reveal the strategy of hell behind this. The lie the enemy wants you to believe is if you are asking God for a sign, or if you question God about any matter in your life, you are questioning God’s existence. But the truth of the matter is the enemy of your soul wants you to believe this lie to actually cut off your communication with God. Because if you question God, it will open up the lines of communication for God to answer you. If you ask God for a sign, it will open up the avenue for God to show you He is who He says He is.

Listen to me! Asking God a question about a matter does not mean you are questioning His existence. There is nothing wrong with asking God “why, when, or what.” We run into a problem when we try to figure out how God will answer any of those question. There is nothing wrong with asking God a question. Every question you ask God and every question He asks you is an invitation to intimacy. Questions are an invitation into a dialogue and to communicate. Religion will say you cannot reason with God. But the Word of God says, “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: . . .” (Isaiah 1:18) Religion will say you cannot ask God for a sign. But the Word of God says, “. . .ye have not, because ye ask not.” (James 4:2)

I do not know who I am talking to, but as a child of God you cannot be scared to question God. As a child of God, when you question him you are not questioning His existence because He has already showed you who He says He is so many times in your life. When you ask God “what is this,” you are opening up the lines of communication so you can have an intimate relationship with God the Father. When you ask God “why is this/that happening,” you are not questioning his knowledge of the situation. You are opening up an avenue to get to know God intimately about an area of your life. Religion will have you so high minded you must not question God about any matter in your life. But I say to you there are, and will be, many times in your life you will need to give up your dignity to experience God’s divinity. The Word of God says:

And this is the confidence that we have in Him (God), that, if we ask any thing according to his will, He heareth us: And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him. (I John 5:14-15 [emphasis added])

Because you are a child of God, it means you have an intimate relationship with God, the Father, through God, the Son, by God, the Holy Spirit. There is nothing wrong with asking God a question or asking for a sign. For it is written:

Moreover the Lord spake again unto Ahaz, saying, ask thee a sign of the Lord thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above. But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the Lord. And he (the very same person who said that he will not ask for a sign) said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also? Therefore, the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (God with us). (Isaiah 7:10-14 [emphasis added])

Do not be scared to question God about any situation in your life. And do not be scared to ask God for a sign from Him. For when you ask God a question, you are inviting him into an intimate conversation. And when you ask for a sign, it is to show those around you that God is God, and there is none like Him.

Be Blessed!
