“Walk Away
”

In these last days there are going to be so many people coming up to you to try and tell you what they think you should do, say, and how you should act. Most of the time their response will be like everybody else in the world. And the thing about what they tell you to say, do, or how to act does not line up with what God says do. The Word of God says,

But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are revolted and gone. Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the Lord our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest. Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you. For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men (women). (Jeremiah 5:23-26)

I do not know who I am talking to but there is someone you have been talking to giving you information. You know in your heart it is not right. I say unto you, my brother and my sister, Walk Away. For the more you entertain their words, the more they will lure you into doing things their way instead of God’s way. If they are not trying to convince you to do or say things their way, they will convince you to do or say things your own way instead of God’s way. The more you entertain their words, the more you will be snared into the traps of the devil. The Word of God says, “The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth (listen) unto counsel is wise.” (Proverbs 12:15 [emphasis added])

The thing about it is you know what they are saying is wrong. You know what they are telling you to do is wrong. You know how they are telling you to act is not of God. But yet you still entertain the idea by continuing to listen to them. The more you listen to them, the stronger your flesh (feelings and/or emotions) gets. The more you listen to them, the more your soul will be directed to tell your spirit what to say and do. As a matter of fact, the more you listen to them, the more you will struggle with the situation.

The Word of God says, “Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.” (Proverbs 26:4) If what they are saying does not line up with the Word of God, Walk Away. If what they are saying does not line up with the character of God, Walk Away. If what they are telling you to do is totally opposite of what God has told you to do Walk Away. If their thoughts do not line up with God’s way of doing things Walk Away. For the more you entertain their words, the more snared you will be by the world, your flesh, and the devil. If you know what they are saying is not right, telling you to do is not right, and what they are thinking is wrong, do yourself a favor and Walk Away. For it is written:

Go from the presence of a foolish man (woman), when thou perceivest not in him (her) the lips of knowledge. (Proverbs 14:7 [emphasis added])

Everybody does not have your best interest in mind. Do not entertain foolish conversation today. Do yourself a favor and Walk Away. For when you Walk Away, you prevent a fight from even getting started.

Be Blessed!
