“When God Made You”

Thought for Today: When God Made You

In these last days the enemy has released an ordinary spirit into the church. Since the devil cannot convince you that God is not who He says He is, he is now attempting to convince the children of God that they are just like everybody else in the world.

This ordinary spirit that has been released in the body of Christ has been sent to attack not only those who sit in the pews each Sunday but those who serve God in any capacity in the church, from the parking lot attendants to the gatekeepers, ushers, worshippers, prayer warriors, preachers, teachers, prophets, equipment managers, office administration, even the pastors of the church.

Jesus said in Matthew 24:24, “For there shall arise false Christ and false prophets and shall shew great signs and wonders insomuch that if it were possible, THEY SHALL DECEIVE THE VERY ELECT.”

The enemy has been whispering in your ear that you are no better than anybody else, and if he has not whispered that into your ear then he is saying you are just like everybody else. The enemy wants you to believe the lie from hell that you are just an ordinary person.

But I came to inform you the devil is a liar. The minute that you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, you went from being an ordinary person to an extraordinary person. For the word of God says “But as many as received Him (Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior) to them (this means you) gave He POWER TO BECOME SONS/DAUGHTERS of God, even to them that believe on his name” (John 1:12).

When Jesus became your Lord and Savior, God took His Super and fused it with your natural, which gives you the ability to live a supernatural life. This is what is meant in 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man/woman be in Christ he/she IS A NEW CREATURE old things are passed away behold all things are become new.”

I know you don’t feel like it, I know you don’t think there is anything special about you, and you may even believe the lie that the world, your flesh, and the devil has told you all this time that you are nothing special. I say to you my brother, I say to you my sister THE DEVIL IS A LIAR, yes, I am shouting at you. As a child of God, you are not an ordinary person, you are an extraordinary person.

The word of God says, “According as His (God’s) divine power hath given unto us (this means you) all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him (Jesus the Christ) that hath called us to glory and virtue. Whereby are given unto us (this means you) exceeding great and precious promises; that by these ye might be PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE HAVING ESCAPED THE CORRUPTION THAT IS IN THE WORLD THROUGH LUST” (2 Peter 1:3-4).

The reason why the enemy don’t want you to pray (communicate with God) , worship (get in the presence of God), and read the word of God is because the more you do those things the more you become like Jesus. And anyone who has even heard of Jesus understands that He is not ordinary.

I want to put this right here for you, Romans 8:29 “For whom He (God) foreknew He also did predestinate to be CONFORMED TO THE IMAGE OF HIS SON, that HE (Jesus) might be the firstborn among many brethren/sisters.” If you are being made in the image of Jesus you need to know this truth: there is nothing ordinary about you.

I rebuke the spirit of ordinary over anyone who is reading this thought of the day. And I declare that you are sons and daughters of the most-high God, you are joint heirs to the throne of God, you are the head and not the tail, and that same power that raised Jesus from the dead now dwells in you.

For it is written, “When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars which thou hast ordained, what is man (humanity) that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him/her a little lower than the angels and hath crowned him/her with glory and honour THOU MADEST HIM/HER TO HAVE DOMINION (authority) OVER THE WORKS OF THY HANDS; THOU HAST PUT ALL THINGS UNDER HIS/HER FEET” (Psalms 8:3-6).

There is nothing ordinary about you. Get up, pick your head up, and grab the word of God and declare what God says about you. You are not ordinary, you are extraordinary simply because when GOD MADE YOU, he created something special.

Be Blessed
