“When You Can’t See God”

Thought for Today: When You Can’t See God

There were times in your life where you saw the hand of God in a certain situation that strengthened your faith and raised it to a whole new level.

But now you are in a situation where you can’t see God, you can’t hear God, you can’t feel His presence, and all hell is breaking out in your life. You feel like everything is falling apart all at one time and you have no idea why God is not speaking to you.

You are crying out to God, “Where are you? What is going on? How can You leave me in this mess? I pray, I worship, I tithe, I read your word every day, and when I need you the most, it seems like you have just disappeared.”

I don’t know who I am talking to, but the Holy Spirit of God says to you today, “WHEN YOU CAN’T SEE ME is when I am at my best.” This is what is meant in John 4:24, “God is a Spirit; and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”

“I am a spirit, you cannot see me with your natural eyes. WHEN YOU CAN’T SEE ME in the natural it’s because I am moving behind the scenes. I am moving in the unseen realm.” The word says, “For we (this means you) wrestle not against flesh and blood (the natural) but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual (unseen) wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12).

Stop trying to deal with this situation in the natural, for the word of God says, “It is the spirit that quickeneth (gives life) the flesh profiteth nothing; the words that I speak unto you they are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63).

“WHEN YOU CAN’T SEE ME in the natural realm,” says the Lord, “don’t try to fight in the natural and don’t lose your peace. Grab my word and speak it out loud.” For the word of God says, “The LORD shall fight for you and YE SHALL HOLD YOUR PEACE” (Exodus 14:14). You may be asking, “What will speaking the word of God do for me, Pastor Erick?”

The word of God says, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, (as a child of God we do not fight in the natural) but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds casting down imaginations (things unseen) and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:4-5).

I know this may sound cray cray, but when you can’t see God in any matter in your life, you need to begin to praise Him like never before. BECAUSE WHEN YOU CAN’T SEE GOD, that is when He is at His best.

For it is written, “And the angel of God which went before the camp of Israel removed and went behind them, and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face and stood behind them (went from being seen to being unseen when they looked ahead) And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel and was a cloud of darkness to them (the enemy) but it gave light by night to these so that the one came not near the other all the night” (Exodus 14:19-20).

Praise God when you can’t see, sense, or hear Him, because WHEN YOU CAN’T SEE GOD in any situation that you are in, that is when He is at His best. Let God arise by praising Him and let His enemies be scattered.

Be Blessed
